Home Brewing Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you can brew your own beer at home, and it’s completely legal. And the results can be better than commercial beer. What better way to learn how to brew and share your hobby with other homebrewers than to join a club. Below are some of the questions that we frequently answer for new brewers.
- How often does the FBI meet?
The Club meets once a month, at 7:30 PM on the third Tuesday of the month. We encourage members to show up at 7:00 for a laid-back homebrew share and an opportunity to catch up and discuss homebrewing with other members.
- Where are the Club meetings held?
We meet at The Brewshop, located at 11047 Pierson Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, off of VA Route 2, just South of Shannon Airport.
- How much are Club dues?
Our dues are only $20 per year. These funds support Club events, such as the Annual Oktoberfest party, purchasing commercial examples of beers for our monthly meeting Beer Style presentations, and other activities that promote homebrewing in the local community. Download the membership brochure. Simply print out the application and either bring it to the next meeting with your payment, or feel free to drop it off at the Brewshop at any time.
